Viton® rubber gaskets, made from a high-performance fluoroelastomer, offer outstanding resistance to petrochemicals, hydrocarbons, organic solvents, and mineral acids. With exceptional thermal stability and resistance to compression, they are extensively used in the automotive, aeronautical, gas, and petrochemical industries. These gaskets also possess moderate mechanical strength and excellent weathering, oxidation, and ozone resistance. At the same time, caution should be exercised regarding their compatibility with ketones such as acetone or organic acids.
