EPDM rubber cord has excellent resistance to weathering, ultraviolet light, ageing and adverse environmental conditions. It is also highly resistant to chemicals such as alkalines, diluted acids and ketones. This makes EPDM rubber cord preferred for outdoor sealing applications, often where an exact size o-ring is not available.
